ISS Facility Services operates fire rescue services at Volvo Powertrain and Horse in Skövde – the operations are part of Räddningstjänsten Skaraborg. We are now looking for a Strength Leader whose responsibility is to oversee fire safety – both operationally and preventively – at Volvo Powertrain and Horse.

The role involves conducting operational fire rescue services, systematic fire protection work (SBA), and leading fire safety training and other related activities. This is a permanent position starting with a 6-month probationary period. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00, with on-call duty every 5th week and a response time of within 15 minutes.
Requirements
* Trained Firefighter with completed SMO, GRIB/Firefighting Operations, or equivalent training.
* Physical and mental fitness according to AFS 2007:7.
* Administrative and computer literacy.
* Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
* Rescue Leader A/LK1.
* Category B driver's license.
Meritorious Qualifications
* Rescue Leader B/LK2.
* Category C driver's license.
Your Personality
You have extensive operational experience and maintain composure, making constructive, quick decisions in acute and high-pressure situations. You apply rescue tactics, conduct risk assessments (e.g., for smoke diving), and determine resource needs. You possess the knowledge to apply current safety regulations, policies, and instructions to protect employees.
You have a strong ability to listen and build trust, fostering a good collaborative climate and engagement within the team. You communicate information in a pedagogical, clear, and simple manner, both verbally and in writing. You take responsibility for the team's performance during alarms and in daily operations, make decisions, and drive tasks toward set goals. You can handle sudden changes, varied tasks, and adapt to new working methods.
